I want to take this opportunity to tell you how very pleased I have been with your overall service for the past 10 or more years .  And more importantly the quality, timeliness, staff organization, and scheduling reliability has been impeccable.  AND whoever does the interviewing for your technicians should be getting a BIG bonus!  Every tech, and there have been many, have been personable, well mannered, always answers our dumb questions pleasantly, are neat and clean, and never seem in a rush.... and they do not resemble convicts (like some other service-men I've seen) in any way .... how do you guys find these fine young men?

There is no comparison to the work they did to the previous system I had. I can tell when a worker is just doing what is required and when someone has pride in their workmanship. Mr Gary Weeks, I had the pleasure of meeting Roger Bullock one of your sales representatives in my home while shopping for a complete replacement of my heating and air conditioning system. Dear Weeks,

I can’t recall the last time I took the time to write a vendor or service provider.  Like most people, I’m more likely to write after a bad experience, and I don’t spend the time acknowledging good service.

We bought this house last year, and the prior homeowner left some Weeks paperwork for us to keep.  It was the invoice for the installation of our unit.  Since he used your company, we thought it was a good idea to stick to using Weeks.  We signed up for your service plan.

Around the middle of June (a month and a half ago) our AC unit stopped cooling.  The interior fan was working, but the compressor wasn’t.  If I recall correctly, this occurred on a Friday around 6PM.  I thought for sure there wasn’t a chance in hell (pardon the French) that I would reach anyone.  I also thought that if I did reach anyone, the price for repair would be astronomical considering it was going to require a technician on a Friday evening after hours.

I was pleasantly surprised that someone answered the phone.  The lady that answered (can’t recall her name) listened to my problem and assured me that a technician would be calling me right back.   I received a call within probably 5 to 10 minutes.  He was working on another job, but he arrived at my house within an hour. 

So as to not make this a 10 page e-mail, I will summarize.  I believe your technicians were out here at least 5 times before it was finally fixed.  Any outsider reading this might wonder, “Why is this customer happy with the service if it took five trips to fix the problem?” 

I am a skeptic by nature.  Because of my past experiences with contractors, I always assume they are out to screw me.  First, I assume I am being overcharged, and second I assume the job won’t be done right.  I was wrong on both of these assumptions with Weeks.

I was happy because:

  • Weeks responded very quickly on a Friday after hours.
  • Weeks only charged me $78 to replace the fan on my compressor unit.
  • Although it took several trips for Weeks to find the problem (elusive pressure switch I believe), they came out each and every time in a timely manner without complaining until the job was done.  I was never charged again.  They were very motivated to find the problem, and I could tell they were taking this personal because this unit was really confusing them.  I got a sense of pride in their work.
  • I recall it was very late one evening and the tech had to go to the shop to get a part.  I offered to just have him fix it the next day because I could tell he was tired.  He thanked me, but he insisted he wanted to fix it for me.  I couldn’t believe it.
  • They are very reachable.  The technicians on call have a pager, and if “I’m lying I’m dying”, I swear they called me back each time after no more than 10 minutes after I paged them.

By the way, I will keep my service contract as long as I live here and as long as Weeks is in business.
